However it is better than the opposite problem of the tires being very soft, squishy, and require tedious gluing to the rim to prevent them from falling off. We searched for a long tome to find tires that could withstand the payload required for these rovers. I also routinely spew profanities when mounting the tires to the rims. lol :D Yes the fit of the tires on the rims is very tight.
