Connecting your new widget to the internet is the holy grail of embedded development. Intergrating web technology with an embedded device has been a common stumbling block for many developers trying to bring a product to market. With that in mind, I wrote a guidebook for developers that assumes very little web knowledge to start with.
When presenting the information, my sample programs will demonstrate small bite-sized bits of code that demonstrate only one new idea per sample. As an engineer, I tend to prefer simple solutions and concepts. (I haven't met an engineer yet that couldn't take a simple example program and make it more complicated.) Once you understand how it functions, you can add your own features as needed.
